Today's class was really enjoyable. We revised how to write informal letters in groups and had a good time trying to find out a solution for Charlotte's problem. Have a look at the presentation below to see the resulting letters

ARE YOU STRESSED WITH EXAMS?
Just before our Easter Holiday we talked about how to cope with stress before exams. We gathered the best tips to face oral exam situations and wrote them all up on the board.
As you are all doing exams next Thursday and Friday here is the advice we discussed with the listening activity we did in class. Your suggestions were not far from the expert´s opinion. Even though you focused more on the previous feelings before the exam, I think we got quite a few interesting pieces of advice.
Hope they help you get rid of anxiety and score the best results ever!!

THE PARTS OF THE BODY
Learning new vocabulary can be tough when just trying to do it by heart. However, playing games and enjoying the learning can be motivating enough to get to know all the target words.
This is what we did in class last Thursday. Enjoying and learning can go together!! See the video and try to remember the different parts of the body we put labels on.
Thanks everybody for the hard work!

"CAFÉ CON LETRAS" IN THE LIBRARY!
Hi everybody!!
Today we had our last class before Christmas... and I didn't want you to go on your holiday without a very nice image of our lessons in your hearts... because, as you all know, a picture is worth a thousand words.
For those of you who missed the class, we talked a lot about our favourite books and spent a good time in the library with a very hot cup of delicious coffee... next time think twice before you play truant!!

ME IN TWELVE WORDS!!
My CALC students and I spent part of our first class today trying to get to know each
other a little bit!! They learned a few things about me, my life, my
family.... "Me in 12 words":
They did a great job finding out the right questions for the words above.
1. What's my name?
2. When was I born?
3. What time do I usually get up?
4. What´s my eldest son´s name?
5. When did I start teaching English at the school?
6. Which sport do I hate the most?
7. Where did I go on holiday last summer?
8. How many children do I have?
9. Where do I live?
10. What do I like doing at the weekends?
11. What colour is my car?
12. Do I like my job?
Now it's high time I get to know my students a bit better. I
would like them to write their 12 words in the comments below. Then, the rest of the class can just try to guess the questions!! Do you feel
like playing the game again?
YOU IN 12 WORDS: Write your words in the comments below!!
