Here is Girls don't like boys by Good Charlotte. We used the song in class to introduce "Money" vocabulary and expressions. Revise and enjoy!!



ARE YOU A SPENDER OR A SAVER? 

This is your time to determine whether you are a spender or a saver when it comes to handling money. Take the test below and find out which side of the scale you stand on. As you do it, do not forget to underline key money vocabulary and memorize it having fun!

Have a look at this text about a lottery winner and learn some new vocabulary related to the topic in this unit.

In this exercise, you will listen to what six people say if they are good at saving money.

Before moving onto our next issue, do some activities about Sorie and Mark and how they worry about their future.

FRANE SELAK: HOW WINNING THE LOTTERY CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE



In today´s class we met Frane Selak, a Croatian music teacher who escaped death seven times!! and afterwards won the lottery in 2003, prompting experts to dub him the "world's luckiest man". 

If you google his name, you will find a lot of interesting information about him. Here is a good example. If you are also interested in finding out more about the world's unluckiest luckiest man, you can go to Wikipedia, too.

and last, but not least, have a look at all the luck expressions we studied in class and learn some more here!!
