SOME TIPS FOR THE ORAL EXAM

The oral exam is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to communicate. Take good advantage of it and make an amazing impression!!

Before the exam try working with classmates or practising in front of a mirror. It will help you to evaluate yourself and gain self-confidence. If you find yourself anxious, take several deep breaths to relax and don't talk about the test to other students just before entering the room. Remember that their anxiety can be contagious!! You can use this online voice recorder to practise at home in advance.

When taking the exam do not forget to correct yourself if you make any mistakes and always keep eye contact with your partner. Finally, remind yourself that you are well-prepared and are going to do well.

I have added a couple of documents with useful phrases and expressions that you can use if you want to have some extra practice with a classmate or with yourself. I hope they help you improve your oral skills. Good luck!! Just don´t panic!!
