LEARNING THE PARTS OF THE BODY

Hi everyone!

Today my intensive intermediate course students have learned the parts of the body in English playing a very funny game. Would you like to have a look at the result? Here you are... because a picture is worth a thousand words!!

Now that they are experts on parts of the body vocabulary, why not trying this activity? Tell us all about your results in the comments section below!!

"CAFÉ CON LETRAS" IN THE LIBRARY!

Hi everybody!!

Today we had our last class before Christmas... and I didn't want you to go on your holiday without a very nice image of our lessons in your hearts... because, as you all know, a picture is worth a thousand words.

For those of you who missed the class, we talked a lot about our favourite books and spent a good time in the library with a very hot cup of delicious coffee... next time think twice before you play truant!!

LEARNING THE PARTS OF THE BODY IS "FUN"TASTIC

My CALC students are learning how to describe someone's appearance in English. They are working hard on vocabulary and expressions to talk about someone's physical description. Here is the result of their tough work!! I'm really proud of their job!! Judge for yourselves!!

TOP 5 WRITING TIPS

On their second day in class, my CALC students took a test on reading, listening and writing skills. I am really proud of their final score when reading ... but I´m afraid their writing results were not very good. So, here are some tips for them to follow and get a successful piece of writing.

I´m looking forward to your wonderful works of art!!

ME IN TWELVE WORDS!!

My CALC students and I spent part of our first class today trying to get to know each other a little bit!! They learned a few things about me, my life, my family.... "Me in 12 words":

They did a great job finding out the right questions for the words above.

1. What's my name?
2. When was I born?
3. What time do I usually get up?
4. What´s my eldest son´s name?
5. When did I start teaching English at the school?
6. Which sport do I hate the most?
7. Where did I go on holiday last summer?
8. How many children do I have?
9. Where do I live?
10. What do I like doing at the weekends?
11. What colour is my car?
12. Do I like my job?

Now it's high time I get to know my students a bit better. I would like them to write their 12 words in the comments below.  Then, the rest of the class can just try to guess the questions!! Do you feel like playing the game again?
